This was definitely a vampire story with a twist, the human subservient being a male and the strong protector vampire being a female!

The romance side felt more maternal than romantic to me, that may just be the way I felt because I’m used to the male being the stronger character, or it could just be that romance written by a man (sorry Jaz!) isn’t quite as on the mark as when written by a woman!…….sexist I know!!!!

The action was there and was quite good I look forward to reading the next book when it comes out Jaz!
