I found this book more captivating than the first.......I will point out, as I did with the first of the series, that this is a young adult book, and as such it is an excellent read. It has the right amount of action and suspense for it's age group and even as an adult it kept me hooked!!

As a Mum I just want to gather the flock together and take them home to protect them. It's so sad what has happened to them and I can't begin to predict the final outcome with all the twists and turns in this story.

I can see Max and Fang having some complications in their relationship as the two are growing into adults and this is confusing their feelings for each other, it will be interesting to see where JP takes them.
