Max and the flock almost came to a very sticky end but fortunately lived to fight another day! I'm glad the group realised they should be together after they'd parted ways because it wasn't the same having 2 groups.I'm still captivated and curious to see where JP is going with this and whether or not the rest of the bird kids find their parents.
We are constantly being kept on our toes, not knowing who is good who is bad or which side they are on, which adds an edginess to the story and doesn't let you rest while reading.
